Squirrel Cage Motor Control

The board, allowing the simulation of starting systems for the motors with squirrel cage rotor, must be equipped with a clear synoptic diagram that shows through terminals: the push-buttons, the thermal relay contacts, the contactor coils and the signaling lamps.
The system, besides the board, must include a three-phase asynchronous motor supplied at the reduced voltage of 42 V, complete with an educational base and terminals that make easy the connection to the simulation panel.
The speed meter, connected to an Opto-encoder, must allow measuring the rotation speed of the motor.
Besides, a magneto-thermal switch and an emergency key must allow the immediate interruption of the supply circuit in case of overload or short-circuit.

With this system, the student is able to study the following:
– Telestarting of three-phase asynchronous motor
– Running teleinversion
– Star-delta telestarting
– Bias Tele switch
– Star-delta Tele starting with running teleinversion
– Bias Tele switch for the two-speed motor of Dahlander connection

With this system, it is possible to perform the following experiences:
– Remote-controlled starting of a three-phase asynchronous motor with double controls
– Remote-controlled reversal of a three-phase asynchronous
– Star-delta remote-controlled starting of a three-phase asynchronous motor
– Star-delta remote-controlled starting with remote-controlled reversal
– Remote-controlled bias switch for a two-speed motor (Dahlander connection)
– Remote-controlled reversing switch and remote-controlled bias
– switch for two-speed motor
– The board must be connectable to PLC through two connectors (37-pin type) placed on the backside of the panel.
– Complete with connecting cables, educational manual and control software.
